In order to carry out the murder plan, on 26 August 2022, starting at approximately 7:05 A.M., the assassination squad ambushed Arpafan's home at 32 Aryeh Ben Eliezer Street in Lod, with the defendant wearing a mask over his face and driving the Mitsubishi and the others driving the Toyota car, with the driver wearing a mask. At about 7:30 A.M., Arpafan and his son Hilal left their home in Arpafan's Hyundai I20 car numbered 780-05-701, and began driving to their workplaces in Holon. At this point, the assassination squad came out of the ambush and drove after Arpapan's car, with the defendant driving a Mitsubishi and the others driving a Toyota. A short time later, the assassination squad lost eye contact with Arpafan's car and split up, so the defendant continued driving to Arpafan's place of work in Holon and the others drove to a waiting point in Ramle.
At about 7:53 A.M., Arpafan dropped his son off at his workplace in Holon, and drove to his place of work at Shagrir's company at 8 Hanafah Street in Holon. A few minutes later, after Arpafan parked his car in the Shagrir compound, at 8:01 A.M., the defendant arrived at the Shagrir compound, surrounded the place in a Mitsubishi for several minutes, and after informing the others, he drove back to a waiting point in Ramle. Later, at 11:02 a.m., the defendant drove in a Mitsubishi from the waiting point in Ramle to Arpapan's place of work, and arrived at the Shagrir compound at about 11:23 a.m. For about an hour, the defendant ambushed Arappan near his place of work, surrounded the Shagrir compound, watched and waited for Arpafan to leave his place of work.
At about 12:23 P.M., Arpafan left his car from work, picked up his son and began driving back home. As soon as Arpafan's car left the Shagrir compound, the defendant began to follow him in the Mitsubishi and informed the others about the return trip in the direction of Lod. At 12:29 p.m., following the update, the others began driving in a Toyota, armed with loaded weapons, from the waiting point in Ramle in the direction of Lod, and a few minutes later joined the defendant's surveillance of Arpafan, on his way home.
