In summarizing the findings of this investigation, I would like to emphasize that the defendant continues to remain silent about his actions on the two relevant days, claiming that he remembers nothing, denying involvement in the plate replacement despite being shown the video in which it is documented, falsely denying any connection to the number 685, not only in relation to the day of the murder, but also before and after it, and does not take advantage of the explicit opportunities given to him to describe specific dates when he did not have the subscription. As usual, the defendant claims that he did not know the victim and did not know his identity, and therefore he had difficulty providing an explanation for the internet searches, which even included the explicit name of the deceased.
A sixth and final interrogation is conducted on 6 October 2022 at 10:13 a.m., by interrogator Sagi Abramov [P/162 - Statement, P/164 - Transcript]. The investigation opens with another reference, identical to its predecessors, to the issue of the conflict. The defendant claims that he is not personally involved in any dispute, and that he has no explanation as to why attempts were made to eliminate him. He once again refuses to unlock the locked phones and continues to claim that all the family members use them and have the codes, and that he has no secrets on the phones. He continues to deny any connection to the paper clipping, and claims that he does not remember why he drove north after the murder in Abu Khalifa's Mercedes. He is shown a video of him from the gas station on the way north, and he does not recognize himself or the car, and claims that he does not remember if he is even driving the Mercedes. The interrogation returns to the subject of the phones, and he is again shown the three phones that were seized. This time, the defendant claims that he does not remember whether they were his, and whether they were caught when he was arrested.
At this point, the investigators surprise the defendant, unlock the phone (omitted)... The defendant claims that he does not remember and does not remember the 685 subscription either. He explains that in the 685 subscription, WhatsApp was unlocked by TA, and he is asked to put his finger on the screen, but refuses, explaining that he does not want to cooperate. He was asked about Wasfi al-Sheikh, and claims that he does not remember who he is, even after he is shown a photo, and denies the correspondence with him on the day of the murder or in general. The interrogators explain to him that the correspondence with Waspi links him to the phone on the day of the murder, due to the blocking of access to WhatsApp via TA, and suggest that he once again put his finger on the screen and deny his involvement - but the defendant continues to refuse. He was asked about the SIM swap the day before his arrest, and claims he does not remember.
