"The Machine "From" 2:        So when did they find him??

The Defendant:                       Find it...  After a few hours, Cars must have passed, the police must have seen him..

The Machine "From" 2:          What is it after a few hours (An unclear word) Police Why is it near your house.

            The Defendant:          Yes...

The Machine "From"1:                       (An unclear sentence)

The Defendant:             I went in here and went to sleep, Do you think he cared that I left him like that??".

(A/23a, pp' 41, Lines 21-13).

The defendant described the deceased's actions before the incident, when he circled the area on his bicycle.  "He doesn't come to us, he's just like that... He turns like this, a traveler returns, a traveler turns" (ibid., p. 45, line 25).  Later, on page 46, lines 31-32, Vanunu asked the defendant: "You say he didn't come to you, so why did you come?".  The defendant answered him as follows: "Because he went through like this  ... He passed like this, it was as if I turned, yes behind him, and then I came at him from behind."

As for the question – when did the defendant know that he had made a mistake in identification; The informants asked the defendant when he realized that he had made a mistake and that the deceased was not Mr. Y.  His answer in this context was not clear.  I note that at first the defendant answered that immediately after he stabbed the deceased, he realized that he had made a mistake.  However, later on, the defendant stated that the day after the incident, he was informed of the issue of the mistake in identification (ibid., p. 48, lines 6-22).

Regardingthe security cameras; The defendant was sure that there were no security cameras at the scene.  He was asked many times by the informants about this issue and noted to them that there were no security cameras.  The defendant even claimed to the informants that he made sure to turn off the cameras (P/23A, p. 46, lines 18-22).

Interrogation of the informants

  1. As mentioned, The informants testified before us. As part of the testimony of the informant Lasri, He was asked to relate to the atmosphere that prevailed between the informants and the defendant inside the cell, and this is how he replied: "The atmosphere in the cabin was very comfortable.  He felt comfortable both sitting with me and what I saw with the other informant.  Sit with us, Smoke cigarettes with us ...  Show how well Ho knows the criminal world, His concepts were also criminal concepts.  Talk about chocolate ..." (pp' 264 For the record, Lines 18 -22).

Up Next, In his cross-examination, Lasri testified as follows: "...  But it comes, He arrives in the cell and he tells me this and doesn't force him, I don't use it against him, I don't use it, not under unfair stress or, I didn't promise him anything" (pp' 269 For the record, Lines 22 -25).
