When we asked the minor whether she enjoyed the meeting, the minor replied yes.
When we asked if she was interested in another meeting, the minor replied that she was not.
We told her that we didn't understand why, because she said she had fun with us, and the minor replied that she had fun squirting water on us
Afterwards, the defendant entered and collected her daughter. We shared with the defendant the minor 's presence in the minor's general condition at the time of the meeting.
In addition, during the visit, the defendant entered the center and expressed her dissatisfaction with our proposal that would bring the minor something sweet. According to her, it was a kind of attempt to "coax" her daughter and convey the wrong message.
- In addition, she notes the minor's condition at home after the encounter (p. 7, third paragraph):
"After the interaction session, I spoke by phone with both the applicant and the minor's mother. The defendant stated that after the encounter the minor woke up crying several times during the night and that she was under the impression that she was not calm, although during the day she was in a more reasonable state. In addition, I spoke with her about her erroneous interpretation, in my opinion, regarding her claims that an attempt was made to "coax" her daughter, since in this statement she ignored her firm objection and the great difficulty in which the minor was found, and that this was done in her presence. It should be added that bringing food to such an encounter is a reasonable and acceptable act. The defendant showed understanding of this and apologized for such a statement.
Regarding the plaintiff's position, the social worker notes:
"Afterwards, and in a conversation I had with the plaintiff, the defendant shared her difficulties from the encounter, and especially her pain in noticing the astonishment on the minor's face when she first met her. She emphasized that the minor was important to her and that she came out hesitant from the meeting with her, but made it clear that she was interested in continuing to contact her."
- In analyzing the situation, the social worker notes the difficulty in determining factual findings regarding the consent regarding the minor's birth, the reason for the lack of parenting documents, the degree of the plaintiff's involvement in the minor's upbringing, and the manner in which she behaved during the separation between the two. With regard to the minor's point of view, she notes (p. 8, second and third paragraphs):
"... I got the impression that the minor had a very difficult time meeting the plaintiff and that the minor did not remain indifferent to the plaintiff. It also appears that her reserved and avoidant response with respect to the plaintiff also points to a certain relationship that was formed between the two in the past and is no longer there.
