The policeman testified that the defendant stated that the intense viewing of ISIS content was among the other factors that led him to make a "claim" to a different appeal (p. 49, paras. 15-34). According to the policeman, from his experience in many interrogations of joining ISIS, he learned that: "There is no need to physically come to the organization in order to perform a 'bi'ya', because of the difficulty of physically reaching and registering for the Islamic State" (p. 46, paras. 16-20).
The policeman rejected the defense's arguments that the videos were planted on the defendant's mobile phone by the security forces and that their origin is unknown to the defendant. The policeman testified that the content was found on the defendant's mobile device, which he gave and demonstrated himself how he entered the relevant websites even before the content was presented to him (p. 47, paras. 23-29; p. 51, paras. 26-28; p. 50, paras. 14-22).
In his cross-examination, he categorically rejected the defense's claims that he had tried to intimidate the defendant by suspecting him of a long list of offenses and acts; he rejected claims that he had interrogated the defendant when he was not feeling well. According to him, the defendant received medical treatment from the IPS and that he did not get the impression during his interrogation that the defendant was in a condition that did not allow him to be interrogated (pp. 59-60).
Beyond the fact that the testimony of Officer Haim was not contradicted at any stage and in any context, and beyond the fact that the claim that he tried to intimidate the defendant during his interrogation came up for the first time only during the testimony of the policeman, and as the prosecution claims, one must wonder that the defense chose to hurl this claim when earlier, during Officer Haim's main testimony, while complaining and objecting to the plaintiff's main interrogation, The defendant's attorney, Attorney Feldman, argued: "There are no arguments against the confessions, for what...? Everything is normal (p. 42, paras. 10-15). Later, he added: "We have detailed confessions that we did not object to..." (p. 47, paras. 32-33).
