At this point, the deceased is seen getting out of the Ford and entering the bakery.

About 40 seconds later (at 20:28), the deceased exits the bakery, and at the exact moment the deceased exits his parked car, the Mazda vehicle arrives again on the road and stops, with the side of the driver's car and the passenger behind him in the Mazda car behind the back of the Ford car.  After about 10 seconds, a man was seen leaving the passenger seat behind the driver of the Mazda and firing 3 bullets at the deceased, who was standing outside his car near the passenger window, fired 3 shots, and fled the scene immediately and without delay.

After the shooting was committed, a Mazda was seen passing through the intersection of Neighborhood 8, driving in the opposite direction of traffic.

Indications that Defendant 1 knew, while he was in the car with Muhammad, that they were monitoring the deceased's car for the purpose of committing murder – first of all, it should be said that as detailed above, Defendant 1 chose to leave his mobile phone in the city of Lod and Muhammad did so, and in these circumstances Defendant 1 probably knew that his drive south with Muhammad was not an innocent trip (and presumably his close friend Muhammad also told him) and that it was also not a trip intended for the purpose of committing a purely "ordinary" offense of violence.  Moreover, defendant 1 himself stated in his testimony in court, several times, that he arrived at the "Dor Alon" gas station in Lakiya together with Muhammad, in Muhammad's Toyota car.  (P. 26.12.22, p. 299, 4, 10, 20).  Defendant 1 is a close friend of Muhammad's and he was probably familiar with Mohammed's Toyota car and could not have mistaken it.

As noted above, defendant 1 was in the Mazda vehicle at the time of the murder, and in these circumstances it is evident that after arriving at the Dor Alon station and replacing the Toyota car with the Mazda (and it is not known exactly when) that was used to commit the murder, defendant 1 probably understood that the transfer to another vehicle and the tracking (as detailed below) were intended to commit the offense of murder.
