Shahar's Outlook diary contains documentation relating to two dates with regard to meetings with ELTA members at Ultrade: one relates to May 25, 2010 (N/271, meeting with Rosenthal) and the other to June 1, 2010 (N/272, meeting with Vered and Rosenthal on the subject: "Demonstration of servers for the project ..."; The entry "Regev" apparently refers to Lord, p. 6384, paras. 4-5). It was not clear whether in fact one or perhaps more meetings were held (Vered, p. 6384, paras. 29-32, where he assumed that there was more than one meeting; Rosenthal testified that he was in the altrade for only one meeting, p. 6684, s. 24, p. 6687, paras. 28-29).
- Reasoning of a single supplier on behalf of the project -
At the same time, and apparently during the month of May 2010, Vered worked to promote the signing of the "Single Supplier Reasoning" form on behalf of the project (P/11, next to Vered's signature line the date of May 12, 2010; At the top of the form is printed the date May 30, 2010). Vered testified that the project's request to approve a single supplier was not done as a routine matter, and that this was done when the project personnel, the engineers, checked and believed that a particular supplier had an advantage or that only he could provide what was required (p. 6381, s. 9-12, s. 28-29; p. 6382, s. 15-32; p. 6383, pp. 5-6; p. 6384, s. 23-24).
In the "Single Supplier Reasoning" form, a hook was specified in the recommended supplier field. In the section intended for reasoning, Vered noted as follows: "1. These are computer models that are no longer manufactured by IBM. 2. The source from which the computers come and their general condition is of great importance. 2. Wii has an inventory of such computers in Israel that worked in a sterile environment in Intel's clean rooms. 4. The availability of this inventory in Israel allows them to be delivered within the short schedule required for the project. 5. This inventory requires additional requirements and will be kept for us for 30 days" (N/11). The form was transferred to a round of signatures and, according to what is stated therein, was signed by the last of the signatories on June 6, 2010 (i.e., prior to the publication of the Anemone Bulletin as described below).
