In response to the interrogator's question: "Since when have you supported ISIS?" the defendant replied: "Maybe from the beginning of watching the videos or a period afterwards."
When asked to elaborate on how long he has been supporting ISIS, he replied: "In my opinion, from the beginning... 2014" (P/6, p. 6). Later in his interrogation, he provided details about ISIS, including an oath of allegiance to the organization's leader, as well as details and information about the organization's current caliph (p. 7).
His second interrogation by Policeman Abud on 22 July 2024 (P/3) was submitted with consent, without interrogating the policeman. Instead of the fact that the defendant ruled out any possibility that anyone had used his mobile device , "it's my phone and no one entered" and added that the device was locked using a secret code (Q. 65) – he admitted that he downloaded it from the Internet: "Maybe two files, one related to bombs, and the other related to guerrilla warfare" (Q. 39), when he said that he read "maybe the first page" (Q. 43), and later added: "I read the first page, the second page, I saw that it was boring and I didn't read it" (Q. 45).
The defendant admitted that he had downloaded the book "Making Bombs" (S. 167) and as for the folder of "Books of Explosives 1" or "Preparation of Poisons" found on his mobile device, he said: "It is possible that I downloaded" (S. 77 onwards). Officer Abboud threw the files found on his devices at the defendant, and the latter responded: "I don't remember." Asked to explain why these folders were on his mobile device, he replied: "I really don't remember why I downloaded it" (Q. 113). Later, and contrary to his answer that he did not remember why he downloaded the folders to his devices, to the question of why he was interested in bombs and explosives, the defendant replied: "Perhaps out of curiosity to know how things work" (Q. 127);
When asked by the interrogator whether he likes to see that a different group uses explosives and bombs, he replied: "Not only, I like to see it in general, and I am interested in any video that has bombs and explosives," and "I like to see bombs in general" (Q. 135).
