The defendant did not answer the question of what was funny and what was funny in the use of derogatory terms and words of a terrorist organization and even to the point of using it regularly.
The defendant confirmed that he had spoken with his friends Bilal and Tamer about the Islamic State, although he qualified it only twice, and only in "laughter" and mockery of the organization. When confronted with statements made by his friend Bilal during his interrogation at the ISA, according to which the defendant and Tamer used to talk a lot about a different appeal and its actions and about the suits, the defendant retracted it and confirmed: "Yes, but not much" (pp. 184-186). Later, he confirmed a conversation with his friend Tamer in which he wrote that he had a "frightening archive" of ISIS, and when asked to explain about the archive, he replied that it was "jokes" (Proc. 29 May 2025, pp. 188-190) and avoided explaining why he did not agree to talk to Tamer about the matter on WhatsApp.
The defendant's use of the internal terminology of Da'ar'ar is different, as evidenced by the defendant's regular conversation with his friends about the organization over the years, attests to a deep process of internalization and teaches that the defendant not only "knows" the organization but also "speaks" to the organization.
Training Oath to the Leader of the Organization
- 37. Mere curiosity does not lead to an oath of allegiance to a murderous terrorist organization. The oath is an act of discretion, which colors all the years of consumption and viewing of the contents of the appeal in a functional light, and testifies that this is not a matter of mere curiosity, but rather a process of assimilation that has matured in preparation for its implementation, which took place after October 7, 2023, and can even be realized.
In his main interrogation on 29 May 2025, the defendant claimed that he did not know the formula of the "bi'a" but rather something like "half a word" (29 May 2026, p. 110). He later denied that he had told Aya's investigator that his views had become extreme after the murderous attack on October 7 (ibid., pp. 110, 147-187), and denied that he had given details about the current caliph of the Abu Khafs organization on his own initiative. According to him, it was only after the interrogator "Aya" showed him the message (P/12, p. 22, paragraph 4.1 conversation of 11 March 2022). which he sent to his friend Bilal, and the conversation about the Caliph began. He claimed that he did not know the names of the caliphs at all, and said this to Aya: "And I said to her, 'I do not know at all, as if I did not know the names...' (ibid., p. 111). This is in complete contradiction to the fact that in his conversation with Bilal he mentions the name of Caliph Abu Khafs.
