Contrary to his version in the main testimony that he did not make a statement and that he did not know its wording at all, in his cross-examination, the defendant confirmed that he told Policeman Haim during his interrogation that his increased consumption of the contents of a different appeal caused him to make a statement and that no one asked him to do so (p. 141, paras. 17-24).
Moreover, the defendant even explained to the plaintiff that the meaning of the statement was "an oath of allegiance to the leader" and confirmed that he had given the wording of the statement during his interrogation by Officer Haim, and later, in the hearing on May 29, 2025, he recited the wording in Arabic (p. 141, paras. 20-34), while alongside these words, he claimed that there was no significance to the statement he made (p. 143, paras. 17-28), and to the plaintiff's repeated questions in this context. I saw that they say that whoever wants to give us a claim will contact us and we approved it, because they don't accept everyone, right? There are people who are willing to accept of course, it's obvious, they don't accept everyone as if, everyone who comes says "I want to join" "Come on, come on" (p. 152, s. 7-10, 29 May 2025).
Later, as he twisted between his wording and the court's question, the defendant admitted that he had made a "claim" to the Islamic State. According to him, after reading his interrogations, he changed his testimony from what he told his interrogators, "I changed things." This is because, according to him, the questions he was asked during his interrogations were "narrow and short" and he was not allowed to explain and elaborate "what everything means."

At the aforementioned stage of his interrogation, the defendant joined the main line of his defense, completely abandoned his arguments regarding the facts of the indictment, and focused on the argument that the "claim" he made had no meaning and validity since in fact he did not contact any contact with any party on behalf of the organization:
" The defendant: I said that the sentence has no meaning, in practice it has no meaning. Its significance begins when you make contact with ISIS.
