Leaving Mobile Phones in Lod - Muhammad and Defendant 1
The court was presented with additional evidence related to the organization to commit the murder, relating to the abandonment of mobile phones by defendant 1 and by Muhammad, while traveling south for the purpose of committing the alleged murder.
As noted by the accuser, the media releases submitted indicate that defendant 1 and Muhammad left their mobile phones in the city of Lod, beginning on the evening of 16 June 2019 (the murder took place on 17 June 2019 at approximately 8:26 P.M.) in order to create a false impression that they were in Lod and not in a girl.
In defendant 1's statement to the police dated July 2, 2019, defendant 1 states that the telephone number of Muhammad Ayman (the name of Muhammad's father) is 052-2879422 (P/1 S. 101), and during the hearing on November 9, 2020, Ms. Etidal Shahin, who is the wife of defendant 1, stated that the telephone number 050-2879422 was Muhammad's phone (p. 60, paras. 6-15, and see also P/150C and P/150). and that the telephone number 052-4094773 was held by her husband, defendant 1 (pp. 56, paras. 1-12).
A perusal of the communications outputs presented shows that telephone number 052-4094773 (hereinafter: "Telephone 422"), which was in the possession of defendant 1 from 16 June 2019 at 22:29 until 17 June 2019 at 21:28, in the area of "Yoseftal 3 Lod" and as of 21:44 it was located in a different location.
A perusal of the communications records further reveals that telephone No. 050-2879422, which was in the possession of Muhammad (hereinafter: "Telephone 422"), was also located from 16 June 2019 at 20:27 until 17 June 2019 at 21:36 in the area of "Yoseftal 2 Lod", and from 21:39 it was located in another place. (P/160A, P/160D, according to the specified hours).
From the aforesaid facts, it does indeed emerge that the phones of Muhammad and Defendant 1 were both in the area of "Yoseftal 2 and 3 Lod", from the evening before the murder until about an hour after the murder (which, according to the indictment, took place on 17 June 2019 at approximately 8:26 P.M.), and this fact would testify to Defendant 1's attempt and Muhammad's attempt to conceal their location during that period of time.
