It should be emphasized that during their interrogations, defendants 2 and 3 admitted in court that they waited in the area of the burning point of the car (before it was brought to the scene and burned) after Muhammad asked them to do so, and in the aforementioned circumstances, after defendants 2 and 3 reported that they had seen something burning, when they were already in defendant 2's car, it is possible to assume in favor of defendants 2 and 3 that the denial of knowledge of the arson of the vehicle does not necessarily indicate that they were involved in the murder.

Preparation of Defendant 2's Vehicle as an Escape Vehicle

The testimony of defendant 2 indicates that after the conversation at the Dor-Alon gas station in Lakiya, he drove together with defendant 3 to the point that Muhammad had instructed him to reach, when he signaled him and defendant 3 to follow him to that point, where he and defendant 3 were waiting.  Defendant 2 confirmed that there had been an hour's wait, and then Muhammad and Defendant 1 arrived at his jeep and Muhammad told him, "Drive, drive," he looked back and saw a flame, when someone might have burned the car in which Muhammad arrived, and then the four drove to the city of Lod (P. of December 26, 2022, pp. 357-361).

Defendant 3, for his part, told in his testimony a story similar to the story told by defendant 2 about their being taken to the meeting point after the conversation at the Dor Alon station, waiting at the meeting point, the arrival of Muhammad and defendant 1 after a period of time, and their journey to the city of Lod.  (P. of March 21, 2023, pp. 287-289).  Muhammad himself told a similar story in his testimony, when the three witnesses described that the waiting was intended to bring drugs to the waiting point and travel to Lod.

In Muhammad's words to the informant, Muhammad told about the car in which they drove to the city of Lod (X6), which drove slower than the speed at which it could be driven.  All the travel data of the vehicle in which they drove to the city of Lod appear in the data of Ituran.
