Biography
François MOYSE has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1991. Since 1996 he has been a partner in several law firms in Luxembourg, before founding MOYSE BLESER in January 2017. Previously, he was a partner for 10 years in a renowned Luxembourg law firm, in charge of the dispute resolution department. He is a lawyer recognised for his significant expertise in administrative law, criminal law and is one of the few lawyers in Luxembourg to practice law before both the Court of Strasbourg in Human Rights and the Court of Luxembourg in Law of the European Union, including in the field of European civil service. He is a member of the Permanent Delegation of the Council of the European Bars (CCBE) to the European Court of Human Rights, as a Luxembourg expert and member of the Executive Committee of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA). He is still a member of the ECBA (European Criminal Bar Association) and the ALAP (Association Luxembourgeoise des Avocats Pénalistes), as well as several other professional associations. François MOYSE is known for being active in many circles and associations within Luxembourg society. He teaches fundamental rights at the University of Luxembourg.
