Biography
Mr. Zukerman practices real estate law, concentrating in the areas of real estate secured lending, from both the lender and the borrower side, and real estate development and acquisitions. He has experience in private offerings of securities with emphasis on real estate. His experience includes representing borrowers and lenders in all phases of new development projects, including historic rehabilitation, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, EB-5 offerings, financings with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and residential offerings with tax exempt bonds. He has extensive experience in distressed real estate, including loan workouts, foreclosures and the ultimate disposition of real estate collateral acquired by lenders. Mr. Zukerman teaches a graduate level course, “Development Process,” at the NYU Shack Real Estate Institute.
