Attached is also a publication on the Teleniri website (a publication which in the meantime was changed and subsequently removed from the site) regarding an application for an injunction, which our firm filed on behalf of Vitec French against Optibase Ltd. Our firm, through attorneys Shlomi Turgeman and Doron Afik, represented Vitec as it acquired the entire video activity of OptiBase in Israel and the United States. In the last month, after questions about debts that remained between the parties, OptiBase began sending letters of demand and threat to customers who were transferred to the Vitec Group as part of the transaction. Vitec appealed to the court for a restraining order that would prevent Optivase from sabotaging its business activities and allow it to arbitrate, as stipulated in the purchase agreement, and the court ordered Optibase to respond within 10 days.
The publication can also be found on the Calcalist newspaper website (which is inaccurate about the results of the procedure, since no decision was made on a request for interim relief, a decision was given to Optibase to respond within 10 days, and after the parties' responses will be given a decision please)
