Regulation of compensation for cancellation of flights or changes in their conditions

On May 29, 2012, the Aviation Services Law (Compensation and Assistance for Cancellation of Flight or Change in its Terms) was published, which will take effect on August 16, 2012.
The law regulates the compensation and assistance due to a passenger who has been issued an airline ticket and whose flight has been canceled or if there has been a change in the terms of the ticket. The law deals, inter alia, with overbooking, cancellation of the flight, introduction or delay on the flight departure date, and a reduction of the ticket.
