Adv. Sassi Katzir joined the firm this week as a partner in Afik & Co., a law firm and notary, which is part of the international law firm EALG, and is part of a comprehensive process.
Advocate Sassi Katzir has recently retired from the Civil Service after decades of service and has a BA in Law, a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and an MA in Public Administration and International Relations, and has held senior positions in the Civil Service, including the head of the Emergency Administration, The head of the local authority and director of the national building supervision unit, Katzir has promoted organizational and legislative reforms and is currently advising government ministries and municipal bodies.
Katzir served in the IDF in senior positions and today is a senior officer in the IDF with the rank of brigadier general in reserve duty. Katzir will manage the administrative department, which will specialize mainly in tenders, election law, advice to local authorities, immigration, residency and citizenship and planning and construction.
